Maria Clarissa Morcilla

Licensed Physical Therapist

Maria is a NYS licensed Physical Therapist. She originally emigrated from the Philippines in 2000 where she completed her training at Emilio Aguinaldo College in Manila. She is continually striving for more information and received her Bachelor in Nursing in 2007. She is also BLS-CPR certified and has completed post graduate training in osteoporosis treatment.

Maria has significant clinical expertise utilizing manual therapy techniques to complement the physiotherapy modalities used in the office stetting. She has experience working with a variety of conditions including: low back pain, neck pain, on the job injuries and return to work rehabilitation.

Maria takes her job seriously. She understands that her patients require very unique care as each presents with a different set of conditions and under different circumstances. She says, “I try to utilize my skills as both a nurse and physical therapist to work with my patients to gain the best outcomes for them”. Maria also expresses her love for her patients, “I get deeply affected by my patients when they can’t perform their normal daily activities. I make sure I do everything possible to help them regain the ability and function they lost due to their injuries”.
